Terms of service
These are the rules for using Metro2IQ. They’re written to be read, not skimmed past: what the software does, what it doesn’t promise, what you pay, and what you’re responsible for.
The short version
- What it is
- Software for reading credit reports, finding where the bureaus disagree, and drafting and tracking disputes.
- What it isn’t
- A credit bureau, a law firm, or a promise of any result.
- Your right
- You can dispute inaccurate information with the credit bureaus yourself, at no cost, with or without Metro2IQ.
- Who can use it
- Adults 18 and over.
- Billing
- Plans are month to month. Cancel any time, and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
Agreeing to these terms
Metro2IQ is operated by Aesthete Solutions LLC (“Metro2IQ”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Aesthete Solutions LLC. By creating an account or using Metro2IQ, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.
If you use Metro2IQ for a business, you agree on the business’s behalf and confirm you’re allowed to. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these terms.
What Metro2IQ is, and isn’t
Metro2IQ is software. It reads credit reports, shows where Equifax, Experian and TransUnion report the same account differently, drafts dispute letters for you to review, and tracks the response clock after a letter is mailed.
- Metro2IQ is not a consumer reporting agency. It doesn’t furnish data to the bureaus or make credit decisions.
- Metro2IQ is not a law firm and doesn’t give legal, tax or financial advice. Nothing in the app is legal advice.
- Metro2IQ is not affiliated with Equifax, Experian or TransUnion.
- Metro2IQ doesn’t send disputes for you. Letters are printed, signed and mailed by you or by the business working your file.
Aesthete Solutions LLC also performs a done-for-you credit repair service, for Illinois residents only, under its own separate written service agreement. That agreement, not these terms, governs the service, its fees and your right to cancel it. These terms cover your use of the Metro2IQ software.
Your right to dispute for free
You have the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit report directly with the credit bureaus, and with the company that reported it, at no cost. You can get your reports free at annualcreditreport.com. You don’t need Metro2IQ, or anyone else, to do either.
No guaranteed results
No specific result, score change, number of deletions or timeline is promised or implied. The bureaus and the companies that report to them decide what happens to a dispute, and how long it takes. Metro2IQ can help you find what’s worth checking and say it clearly. It can’t control the outcome.
Accurate, timely and verifiable information can lawfully stay on your report. Metro2IQ is not a tool for removing it.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Metro2IQ.
- Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, and for your staff’s accounts if you run a business account.
- When you sign up, you choose a self-serve account or a business account, and that choice can’t be changed later.
- Tell us at support@metro2iq.com if you think someone else has used your account.
Self-serve accounts
A self-serve account is for working on your own credit file. You read the report, you decide what to dispute, and you sign and mail your own letters. Metro2IQ is the tool; the decisions are yours.
- Upload only your own reports and documents.
- Letters are drafts. Read every one before you sign it, and make sure every statement in it is true. You are responsible for what you sign and send.
- The response clock counts from the mailing date you enter. Enter the date you actually mailed it.
Business accounts
A business account is for credit consultants and agencies working their clients’ files. If you run one, you are responsible for how you use Metro2IQ with your clients, including:
- Having each client’s written authorization to obtain, upload and use their credit reports and to act for them, before you upload anything.
- Never using Metro2IQ to obtain or use anyone’s credit report without a permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Complying with the Credit Repair Organizations Act, your state’s credit services organization laws (registration, bonding, written contracts, cancellation rights and the timing of fees), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, and every other law that applies to your business.
- Getting consent before you email or text clients, and honoring opt-outs.
- Your own agreements with your clients. The agreement template in Metro2IQ is a starting point, not legal advice. Have your own attorney review it.
- Answering your clients’ requests about their data. We’ll help.
- Securing any system you have Metro2IQ send event notices to.
We process your clients’ information on your behalf to run the software. You agree to cover our losses and reasonable legal costs from claims caused by your breaking these terms or the law in how you use Metro2IQ with your clients.
Plans, billing and credits
These are the plans as of the date at the top. The pricing on our home page shows the current prices.
- Free
- $0. 1 report credit a month, for reading your own file.
- Individual
- $24.99 a month. 3 report credits a month, letters, response tracking and identity theft blocks for your own file.
- Business
- $99 a month. 75 report credits a month, unlimited clients and staff seats. Your first client case is free.
- Business Pro
- $199 a month. 300 report credits a month, with everything in Business.
Credits
- One credit is one report read or one evidence check.
- Monthly credits renew on the 1st of each month (UTC) and don’t roll over.
- A read or check that fails doesn’t use a credit.
- Extra credits come in one-time packs: 3 credits for $4.99 for a self-serve account, and 25 credits for $24 or 100 credits for $79 for a business. Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase.
Paying
- Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize the recurring charge.
- Subscriptions are processed through Clerk and Stripe. Credit packs are paid through Stripe Checkout.
- Prices don’t include taxes that may apply.
- If we change a price, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next billing period.
- Payments aren’t refundable, including for unused credits or part of a month, except where the law requires a refund. If you think you were charged by mistake, email support@metro2iq.com.
Cancelling
You can cancel a plan at any time: self-serve accounts from Account, business accounts from Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and then it doesn’t renew.
Deleting your file doesn’t cancel your plan. Cancel the plan first if you don’t want to keep being charged.
AI features
Metro2IQ uses AI to read credit reports, check whether a document supports a dispute, and rewrite text you select in a letter. AI can misread a page or get something wrong.
Check every value and every letter before you rely on it or mail it. An AI result is a starting point for a person’s review, never a substitute for it.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Metro2IQ to:
- Upload or use anyone’s credit report or documents without their authorization.
- Dispute information you know is accurate, or make a false statement to a bureau, a creditor or anyone else.
- File a false identity theft claim, or create or promote a “credit privacy number” or any other substitute identity.
- Break the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Credit Repair Organizations Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, or any other law.
- Send email or texts to people who haven’t agreed to receive them.
- Get around credit limits, plan limits or security; probe, scrape or overload the app; or copy or reverse engineer it.
- Resell or share access to Metro2IQ without our written permission.
- Upload malware or anything you don’t have the right to upload.
Your content and our intellectual property
You keep ownership of what you upload and write. You give us permission to store, process, display and send it to our service providers as needed to run Metro2IQ for you, and you confirm you have the right to upload it.
Metro2IQ itself, including the software, design, letter templates and written content, belongs to us. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use it for your own file or, on a business account, for your clients’ files, while your account is in good standing. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Metro2IQ at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, puts other people’s data at risk, or doesn’t pay. Unless the reason is abuse, fraud or legal risk, we’ll give notice first where we reasonably can, so you can download your letters and documents.
The sections on business accounts, billing, content and intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue after an account closes.
Disclaimers
Metro2IQ is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI results will be accurate, or that any dispute will succeed. We aren’t responsible for what the bureaus, creditors, the postal service or the services Metro2IQ relies on do or fail to do.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Metro2IQ isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of Metro2IQ. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
Some states don’t allow some of these limits. Where they don’t, the limits apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms takes away a right the law says can’t be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is material, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Metro2IQ after that means you accept the new terms.
General
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Metro2IQ. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it. You can’t transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them if Metro2IQ is sold or merged.
